Ottawa in talks with First Nations on airport investment

Ottawa wants private investors to help fund Canada’s four largest airports.

It is talking with First Nations about possible partnerships, but has not decided which airport will start the process.

Advisers reportedly see Vancouver International Airport as a priority because they expect First Nations investment.

The talks could give Indigenous groups a stake in an airport, but the plans are still at an early stage.
