Four-part Naruto anime planned after nine-year break
The team behind Naruto announced a new four-part anime at New York Comic Con.
It will follow Naruto as a boy who finds himself in the world of Ninku, another manga series published in Weekly Shonen Jump.
Naruto’s creator, Masashi Kishimoto, and Ninku creator Koji Kiriyama will supervise the new anime.
The original Naruto anime ended in 2017 and has reached audiences in more than 145 countries and regions.
The companies involved are also expanding Naruto games, including plans to release the mobile action game Naruto Mobile worldwide.
A Naruto trading card game is scheduled for simultaneous release around the world in June 2027.
