Samsung may name its first new over-ear headphones in 11 years Galaxy Studio

Samsung may be preparing to return to full-size over-ear headphones with a product called Galaxy Studio.

The name was shared by a leaker, and Samsung has a pending US trademark application covering headphones, headsets and earbuds.

Earlier clues in Samsung software pointed to a wireless over-ear model, internally called Galaxy H1.

Samsung’s last major premium over-ear headphones under its own name were announced in 2015, while its recent Galaxy audio products have focused on earbuds.

Leaked software references suggest the new headphones may include noise controls, touch gestures and a Conversation mode, but these features are not confirmed.

The product could compete with premium headphones from Apple, Sony and Bose, though Samsung has not announced it.

Some reports suggest a launch in early 2027, possibly alongside the Galaxy S27 series, but no release date has been confirmed.
