Japan to host fighter development hub for Japan-UK-Italy project in 2027
Japan, the UK and Italy are working together to develop a next-generation fighter.
Their joint venture plans to open a design and development hub in Nagoya in early 2027.
It says the site could eventually have about 1,000 workers, around half of them local.
The hub will give Japan a direct role in the project and is expected to create jobs.
