Cannindah drilling extends interpreted high-grade zone by about 50 metres

Cannindah Resources reported a 75-metre drilling interval at its Mt Cannindah Breccia Project in Queensland, Australia.

The interval, measured down the drill hole, returned 1.17% copper equivalent, a measure that combines copper, gold and silver grades.

The result extends the interpreted high-grade Southern Shoot about 50 metres north, according to the company.

The drilling followed poor sample recovery from an earlier hole, and diamond drilling provided clearer information about the mineralised rock and its boundaries.

The latest intersection is within the existing resource area, which the company said could help future resource modelling and assessment of open-pit development.

A September update put the resource at 23.2 million tonnes at 0.93% copper equivalent within an optimised open-pit shell.

Assays from 11 more Breccia holes are pending, while drilling continues to test the deposit in several directions; further drilling and modelling will be needed to determine whether the resource estimate changes.

The decision to undertake diamond drilling following recovery issues with the original RC hole has provided valuable geological information and delivered a substantially higher-grade intersection

Importantly, this mineralisation sits within our existing resource area and provides valuable additional support for future resource modelling and assessment of the open-pit development opportunity
