Jets Activate Tim Patrick From Injured Reserve
The New York Jets have activated wide receiver Tim Patrick from injured reserve.
He had been sidelined by a groin injury and returns at the first opportunity after missing at least four games.
Patrick is 32 and joined the Jets on a one-year contract.
His return adds a receiver as the 1-3 Jets try to improve their passing attack.
The team will still be without Adonai Mitchell in Week 5, and rookie Omar Cooper Jr. remains on injured reserve.
To make room for Patrick, the Jets waived rookie receiver Jamaal Pritchett, who has played once for the team this season.
Pritchett could become a free agent if no team claims him, and could then return to the Jets’ practice squad.
