Lennox Lewis says Fury has mental edge over Joshua before December fight

Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua, two British heavyweight boxers, are due to fight on December 11 at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.

Their rivalry has lasted almost a decade, with disagreements over arrangements and repeated verbal exchanges.

Former undisputed heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis says Fury has the mental advantage, while Joshua has the physical one.

Lewis expects a competitive fight, noting that both men can knock out an opponent.

The bout is a major all-British heavyweight contest, echoing Lewis’s 1993 fight with fellow Briton Frank Bruno in Cardiff.

Cardiff was chosen after the fighters’ camps disagreed over where the match should take place, and Wembley was largely ruled out because of US broadcasting requirements.

Lewis says both boxers now need to go to training camp and prepare.
