SpaceXAI changes its X account name to SpaceX Super Intelligence
SpaceX’s AI division changed its X account name to SpaceX Super Intelligence and its handle to @SpaceXSI by October 13.
The change followed Elon Musk’s October 4 post saying “No more AI,” after which he agreed to a user’s suggestion to rename the account.
The new name uses Super Intelligence, or SI, a term Donald Trump’s September 29 executive order directed federal agencies to use instead of AI in official documents.
The change is not reflected across the division’s website: its domain remains x.ai, and its page text and copyright notice still say AI.
SpaceXAI has not said whether it will update those website details.
Musk’s Tesla company also changed its AI unit’s X handle to @TeslaSI and its display name to Tesla Super Intelligence.
SpaceXAI changed its official X display name to SpaceX Super Intelligence and its username from @SpaceXAI to @SpaceXSI by October 13.
The change followed Elon Musk’s response to a user suggesting the name SpaceXSI.
Musk had posted “No more AI” on X about a week earlier.
The abbreviation SI stands for Super Intelligence, a term an executive order directed federal documents to use instead of AI.
SpaceXAI’s website still uses the x.ai domain and retains AI in its page text and copyright notice.
