B.C. party leaders to present plans to Vancouver business leaders

B.C.’s three major party leaders are set to present their plans to business leaders in Vancouver.

NDP Leader David Eby, Conservative interim leader Lorne Doerkson and Green Party Leader Emily Lowan are scheduled to speak at an event hosted by the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade.

They will speak separately, not debate each other, and will each address attendees.

Board president Bridgitte Anderson will lead a question-and-answer session afterward.

The board says the event is meant to let people hear the leaders’ visions and priorities for the province.

The provincial election is set for October 24, with a televised leaders’ debate scheduled for Wednesday before election day.
