Animate launches global fair for Metaphor: ReFantazio’s second anniversary
Animate and SEGA have launched a fair marking the second anniversary of the role-playing game Metaphor: ReFantazio.
The game was released in October 2024 and was developed by Atlus’s Studio Zero.
The fair runs from October 10 to November 1, 2026, at participating Animate stores in several countries and through the Animate online shop.
It offers themed merchandise and café items, including drinks and sweets featuring character art.
Customers can receive bonus cards, with the rules varying by product and location; there are nine card designs, distributed at random.
The fair is part of a year-long Animate and SEGA collaboration covering eight titles across more than 140 Animate locations.
The event is scheduled to end on November 1, and Animate says further collaborations are planned.
