Pakistan beat Sri Lanka to take an unassailable lead in T20I series

Pakistan beat Sri Lanka in the second T20 international in Rawalpindi to secure the series.

Sri Lanka had won the toss and chose to bowl first.

Pakistan had already won the opening match, so the victory gave them an unassailable lead in the series.

Maaz Sadaqat was named Player of the Match after scoring 96 runs from 51 balls.

Sri Lanka captain Kusal Mendis said dropped catches and mistakes in the middle overs hurt his team.

The teams are due to play the third and final match in Rawalpindi on Tuesday, October 13.

Pakistan will aim to win that match and complete a clean sweep, while Sri Lanka will look to finish the series with a win.
