Met Police volunteer force chief dismissed after misconduct hearing

James Deller led about 1,200 volunteer officers in the Met’s Special Constabulary.

A hearing found he used his police-issued phone to copy intimate images sent to his personal device.

The Met’s analysis of police data flagged his conduct for review.

He was dismissed and will not be allowed to serve in policing again.
