Sydney Colson criticizes former teammate Sophie Cunningham over transgender-athlete remarks

Sydney Colson criticized her former Indiana Fever teammate Sophie Cunningham for comments about transgender athletes.

Cunningham has said transgender women should not compete in women’s sports and that she stands by her views.

Colson said the remarks were harmful and that silence from teammates can damage trust.

The dispute reflects wider debate over inclusion and transgender athletes in women’s sports.
