Liguria adds funding for technical courses and disability employment programs
Liguria is increasing funding for higher technical courses and job-training programs for young people with disabilities.
The money comes through the region’s 2026 program, which is partly funded by the European Union.
The region is adding €1.73 million to the €5 million already planned for Its Academy courses.
This will fund all submitted course projects, including six that would otherwise have missed out.
For disability-focused training, the region is adding €348,376 to €6 million already planned, enough to support programs for 630 learners.
The funding is intended to help connect specialist training with employers’ needs and improve young people’s access to work.
