Composers and Lyricists Society Opens Its First International Chapter in London

The Society of Composers & Lyricists has opened its first permanent chapter outside the United States, in London.

The group supports people who write music for films, television and video games.

Its UK chapter will offer a local community focused on advocacy and education.

The opening event also honoured British composer George Fenton, who died on October 5.
