Turkey condemns Houthi attacks on Riyadh airport

Turkey condemned repeated Houthi attacks on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

On Sunday, a projectile struck a passenger terminal, and air defenses intercepted a nearby missile.

The Civil Aviation Authority reported injuries from Sunday’s incident but did not give a number.

A missile strike on Saturday killed 13 people and injured 309, according to the figures reported after an Indian national died of injuries.

The Houthis claimed responsibility for the attacks and warned airlines against using Saudi airports and airspace.

The strikes come as fighting has renewed in Yemen, where Saudi Arabia backs the internationally recognized government against the Houthis.

Turkey said attacks on civilians and civilian infrastructure violate international law and called for them to stop immediately.
