Josh Hokit says Jake Paul would not fight him after being left off list
Josh Hokit, a UFC heavyweight, says Jake Paul is avoiding a fight with him.
Paul recently shared a list of 15 possible boxing and MMA matchups, but Hokit was not on it.
The list included boxing matches with Tom Aspinall and Francis Ngannou and MMA bouts with Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz.
Hokit says he would beat Paul in a boxing match and claims Paul could use the size of his previous opponent, Anthony Joshua, as an excuse to avoid him.
Joshua broke Paul’s jaw and gave him his first knockout loss in the ring last December.
Hokit has won three UFC fights this year and is scheduled to challenge Ciryl Gane at UFC 334 on November 14 at Madison Square Garden.
Paul has not announced a date, venue or opponent for his return to fighting.
