Meta launches Muse Wonder AI models aimed at catching up with rivals

Meta has launched two new AI models, Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full, in its effort to compete with leading AI companies.

The models are designed to handle complex personal and work tasks, such as insurance claims, lease agreements and building apps.

Meta says Wonder is more versatile, while Wonder Full is its largest and most capable model.

The launch follows Meta’s earlier Muse Spark model and a major push to strengthen its AI work after falling behind rivals.

The models add Active Memory and Active Focus, which help them carry information across conversations and keep working through problems.

Meta says they can ask users for clarification and check before taking important actions, while also being designed to protect sensitive information.

The models are initially available to developers for a fee, and Meta says they will soon power more features in its Muse assistant.
