Heise schedules two webinars on the Wazuh security platform
Heise has scheduled two online sessions about Wazuh, an open-source cybersecurity platform.
Wazuh can monitor security events, help detect and respond to threats on devices, identify vulnerabilities and support software updates.
It can also be hosted by an organization itself, rather than requiring cloud hosting.
The first session, on Nov.
25, is for beginners and will explain the system and how to build a working test setup.
The second, on Dec.
9, will cover advanced topics such as rules, integrations and responding to security events.
It is aimed at people who already know Wazuh or attend the first session.
The sessions are intended for system architects, security managers and firewall administrators considering alternatives to commercial products.
Heise says tickets can be booked separately or together, and members of its Security PRO service can attend for free.
Heise has scheduled two webinars on the Wazuh security platform for 25 November and 9 December.
The first session will introduce Wazuh and help participants build a working test environment for evaluation.
The second will cover system tuning, including operations, rules and decoder engineering, integrations and Active Response.
