SSP reports fewer passengers around Middle East travel hubs
SSP runs food and drink outlets in places such as airports and train stations.
It said conflict in the Middle East had reduced passenger numbers in the Gulf and nearby regions, affecting its business there.
UK and Ireland sales rose, but SSP now expects its yearly operating profit to be slightly lower than planned.
Fewer travellers can mean fewer customers for shops and restaurants in travel hubs.
