Son of Naples TikToker investigated over alleged illegal boat rentals
Prosecutors in Naples are investigating four people over alleged illegal boat rentals and use of public waters.
One is a son of TikToker Rita De Crescenzo; he is not her son Francesco Pio Bianco, who was wrongly identified at first.
The allegations include operating boat rentals without permission, occupying state-owned coastal waters and breaking navigation safety rules.
The area involved lies between Mergellina and Borgo Marinaro, along Naples’ waterfront.
The Coast Guard seized six boats and inflatable craft used for rentals and trips between shore and sea.
Prosecutors say boats were kept moored at night without required lights, creating collision risks and obstructing commercial public services.
De Crescenzo had supported protests by unauthorized mooring operators in Naples, but the investigation does not establish why she did so.
