PixelBoard brings Gboard’s Rambler voice typing to Android phones
PixelBoard is a modified version of Google’s Gboard keyboard app, made by developer Akshay Kadam.
It enables Rambler voice typing and AI writing tools on Android phones without requiring root access.
Rambler, which recently debuted on the Pixel 11 series, can remove pauses and filler words from speech and turn it into formatted text.
The writing tools can proofread, rephrase, shorten or expand text.
PixelBoard can be downloaded from GitHub and installed alongside the regular Gboard app, so users can switch between them.
Its source code is also available on GitHub for review.
Kadam says he plans to update PixelBoard as new Gboard versions are released.
