Janelle Brown Says Kody’s Treatment of Their Children Led to Their Split

Janelle Brown and Kody Brown were married for nearly 30 years and share six children.

On a Sister Wives episode aired Oct.

11, Janelle said Kody’s treatment of their children was the main reason she began to question the marriage.

She said he wanted the children to conform to his views and behave in certain ways.

Janelle also recalled that Kody had once said she liked him for his physique, but she said that was not what mattered to her.

She described Kody as a good father in earlier years and said his children had been at the center of his life.

Janelle has since begun a relationship with a man named Pete, which she made public in August.

She said kindness and a family-oriented outlook matter to her, and that she does not plan to move away from her home in North Carolina.
