Emily Hampshire says she received spoiler training for Marvel’s VisionQuest

Emily Hampshire is joining the Marvel series VisionQuest as E.D.I.T.H., an artificial intelligence program created by Tony Stark.

The show follows Vision, played by Paul Bettany, as he faces an identity crisis and creates human avatars of other AIs in his system.

VisionQuest concludes a story linking the fates of Wanda and Vision after Avengers: Endgame, following WandaVision and Agatha All Along.

Hampshire says she received training on how to avoid revealing plot details, and learned to assume that anything might be a secret.

She says she joined the series partly because its showrunner, Terry Matalas, had worked with her before on 12 Monkeys.

Hampshire also says the science-fiction setting lets the series explore human themes such as identity.

VisionQuest begins streaming on Disney+ on October 14 and will be available on JioHotstar in India.
