‘The Paradise’ earns an estimated Rs 22 lakh on its 19th day in theatres

‘The Paradise’, a Telugu film starring Nani and directed by Srikanth Odela, opened in theatres on September 23.

On its 19th day, its third Monday, it earned an estimated Rs 22 lakh in India.

That brought its total India net collection to Rs 120.25 crore, while its domestic gross stood at Rs 141.64 crore.

The film’s daily earnings have fallen below Rs 50 lakh on each day reported for its third weekend and Monday.

Set in 1980s Secunderabad, the story follows a marginalised tribe facing discrimination and struggling to secure citizenship.

The makers are reportedly considering adding scenes left out of the theatrical version before the film streams, and Nani is said to be monitoring that version.

The scenes under consideration and the streaming release date have not been announced.
