Mavericks, Clippers and Jazz make preseason roster moves
Dallas cycled through four players for a preseason roster spot, signing and then waiving Matt Cross, Darin Green Jr. and Chris Mantis before signing Jorge Diaz Graham.
The Mavericks gave Diaz Graham jersey number 23, suggesting he may stay on the roster for at least some time.
The Texas Legends, Dallas’ G League affiliate, chose Diaz Graham first in this year’s international draft, and he also played for the Mavericks’ Summer League team.
The Clippers re-signed guard Fletcher Loyer to an Exhibit 10 contract after waiving him last week; he had been with the team during the first week of training camp.
Loyer could compete for the Clippers’ open two-way spot, though the team has not said that is the plan.
Utah waived Mohamed Wague, who signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Jazz last week.
Such contracts can include bonuses for players who spend at least 60 days with a team’s G League affiliate, and the Jazz now have one opening on their preseason roster.
The Mavericks, Clippers and Jazz made several changes to their preseason rosters.
