T-Systems leads scoring for Catalonia’s public cloud contract

Catalonia is choosing a company to build and run a public cloud service.

T-Systems scored higher than NTT Data and Telefónica on technical and organizational criteria.

The contract is worth €481 million over eight years, including VAT and a reserve for possible changes.

Price and other automatic scores are still to come, and they account for 51 of the 100 points.

So T-Systems is ahead, but the final winner has not been decided.
