Dhar Mann plans Los Angeles production campus for creators
Dhar Mann, a YouTube creator with 170 million followers, is expanding his production business in Los Angeles.
He has bought a four-acre campus with nine sound stages for a project called Creator City.
Mann says it will have about 175 sets and support about 15 productions at the same time.
The sets will include real brands, with some companies expected to join as founding partners.
Mann says the goal is to bring creators, brands and culture together, with brands becoming part of stories rather than interrupting them.
His studio says it can make an hour of digital content in seven days, and Mann plans to launch a new series on his YouTube channel every month.
He says Creator City will open during Super Bowl week.
