Russia places former Lenta co-owner Dmitry Kostygin under house arrest
Dmitry Kostygin, a former co-owner of Lenta and Yulmart, is accused of hiding Yulmart’s real financial position in a 2017 deal.
A Moscow court placed him under house arrest on October 8.
He was also convicted in an earlier case over loans to Yulmart, but he did not serve his sentence because the time limit for prosecution had expired.
The new case means he faces another set of fraud allegations.
