PSOE explores joint left-wing Senate lists to challenge PP majority

Spain’s PSOE is discussing joint Senate candidates with other left-wing parties before the November 29 election.

The goal is to win more Senate seats and stop the conservative PP from keeping its absolute majority.

In many provinces, parties that run together may win seats that would otherwise go to the largest party.

Talks are still at an early stage, and the parties have not agreed where to join forces.
