Pablo Marçal takes an informal role in Flávio Bolsonaro’s campaign

Businessman Pablo Marçal is working informally on Flávio Bolsonaro’s campaign as Brazil’s 2026 election approaches its second round.

Marçal’s bid to run for president was rejected by the electoral court.

He and his business partner, Filipe Sabará, have been named social media consultants for Flávio’s campaign.

Marçal has 14 million followers, giving him a large online audience.

The pair have also been asked to outline a possible ministry focused on social policies, called the Ministry of Prosperity.

Marçal’s informal role is intended to avoid legal problems over paid promotion on social media, according to political analyst Pedro Venceslau.

If Flávio wins, Marçal could have a role in his government, Venceslau said.

What people are saying

As a matter of fact, he and Flávio have been close since the pre-campaign.

The fact is that Marçal is another name emerging strongly because he has contributed a lot to the campaign and, in case of victory, will probably be alongside Flávio, likely within the government.
