Alabama loses to Georgia after late personal foul by cornerback

Alabama lost 20-17 to Georgia in a college football game in Tuscaloosa.

With just over two minutes left, Alabama cornerback Dijon Lee Jr. grabbed a Georgia player’s face mask and swung at him.

Officials called a personal foul, giving Georgia a fresh set of downs.

Georgia used the extra time to run down the clock and held on for the win.

Alabama coach Kalen DeBoer shouted at Lee on the sideline, appearing to tell him that he had cost the team the game.

The loss came after Alabama had a chance to tie or take the lead but failed to score on its final possession.
