Crans-Montana hotel projects could bring in about 675 million francs

Crans-Montana, a resort area in Switzerland’s Valais region, has eight hotel projects at different stages of development.

Together, they are estimated to involve about 675 million Swiss francs in investment.

The projects include hotel purchases and renovations, new construction and hotel residences.

The largest is the Village Royal development in Aminona, whose first phase is under way and is expected to cost 400 million to 450 million francs.

Other projects include work on the Rhodania, the future Uciole and the Hôtel Savoy, as well as plans involving the Belmont and Faern Valaisia.

The activity follows the opening of the Six Senses palace hotel in 2023.

The projects are at different stages, and no overall completion timetable is given.
