SNL jokes about Trump not winning the Nobel Peace Prize
Saturday Night Live’s Weekend Update made jokes about President Donald Trump after he did not win the Nobel Peace Prize.
The prize went to Navi Pillay, a South African human rights advocate.
Pillay was involved in the anti-apartheid movement, served as a judge on the tribunal for Rwanda and led a UN commission on Gaza.
Trump complained at a rally that the prize had been given by a liberal person at the United Nations.
Colin Jost and Michael Che used his reaction as material for jokes on the show.
The decision has also drawn criticism from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The story does not say what Trump or Pillay will do next.
