Estopa to release early demos on new album and take them to four stadiums
Spanish brothers José and David Muñoz, who perform as Estopa, are revisiting their early music with a new album and stadium tour.
La Maketa contains 30 demos they made between 1996 and 1998, before their official career as Estopa began in 1999.
Their mother found a cassette of the recordings while cleaning the family home; some songs had never appeared on an album, and three had not been recorded before.
The brothers say the songs still represent them, even though they have changed since their early days in Cornellà.
They will play four stadiums in Spain: Valencia on June 12, Barcelona on June 18, Seville on June 26 and Madrid on July 9, 2027.
The album goes on sale November 20, and general ticket sales begin around 10 p.m.

What people are saying
But they still represent us, eh. Because, deep down, we're still the same kids from Cornellà, with more gray hair.
If we can't fit everyone into four stadiums, we'll have to go to another planet.
Every time I listen to one of those songs or one of those lines, I put my hands on my head. I don't remember what I wanted to say at the time, I really don't remember.
