New York congressional nominee says police officer shoved her at anti-ICE protest

Darializa Avila Chevalier says a New York City police officer shoved her to the ground at an anti-ICE protest.

She is the Democratic nominee for a congressional district where an ICE shooting took place this week.

The incident has drawn attention because Chevalier is a candidate for office and says she has been arrested at protests before.

Her account is reported as her claim.
