SpaceX advances plans for Starlink Mobile to compete with major US carriers

SpaceX is preparing Starlink Mobile to compete with AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon.

It has an agreement to acquire spectrum that could help signals reach inside buildings.

The FCC also approved plans for about 15,000 new satellites.

SpaceX still needs ground stations, and it has not explained when or how it will launch a nationwide service.
