Families search for eight young people missing in Tamaulipas since 2022
Eight young people from Pahuatlán, Puebla, disappeared in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, in September 2022.
They had gone there to work at a taqueria.
Armed people entered the business on September 19 or 20 and took the eight, along with two other workers and the owner.
The young people were between 15 and 27 years old.
Their families formed the 20 de Septiembre collective a few months later to look for them.
The families now travel every two months to Ciudad Victoria to meet with state officials and take part in searches.
They still do not know where the young people are or whether they are alive.
