Carrizo dropped from Copenhagen squad after arriving late to training
Ajax loanee Maher Carrizo was left out of FC Copenhagen’s squad for its away match against FC Midtjylland after arriving late to training.
The 20-year-old Argentine winger is on loan in Denmark from Ajax, where competition for places limited his chances to play.
Coach Bo Svensson said the club enforced its rules and that Carrizo understood the decision.
Copenhagen lost 2-1 to Midtjylland, and its lead at the top of the Danish league fell from five points to two.
Carrizo has made three official appearances for Copenhagen, including two in the league, and scored once.
