Bandai Unveils Gundam XMX Blind-Box Model Kits for 2027
Bandai has introduced Gundam XMX, a new line of small Gundam model kits, at the 2026 Wonder Festival Shanghai.
The kits will be sold in blind boxes, so buyers will not know which design they are getting until they open one.
The first wave will have six designs, mostly from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, though one design has not yet been revealed.
Bandai says the kits will have flexible joints, parts that are easy to swap, and some pre-painted pieces.
Each blind box is expected to cost 59.9 Chinese yuan, or about US$9.
The line is aimed at Gundam fans in mainland China, and the kits are expected to arrive in spring 2027.
