Valor Mortis lists lower PC minimum requirements ahead of launch
Valor Mortis is a first-person action game set in Napoleonic Europe, and it is due to launch on October 13.
Its Steam page now lists lower minimum requirements for processors and graphics cards than it did earlier.
The new minimums are a Ryzen 5 3600 or Core i5-10600K processor, and an RX 5600 XT or GTX 1660 Ti graphics card.
The listed storage requirement has risen from 50GB to 60GB.
The developers have not confirmed that the reduced requirements are final.
Testing with a GTX 1070 found that the game needed upscaling to run at about 40 to 50 frames per second at low settings and 1080p, with some stuttering and sudden drops.
Players with older or less powerful computers may find the lower minimums encouraging, but smooth performance may still require more capable hardware.
