Ravi Kishan says he feels pressure playing Lord Ram in New Delhi Ramleela

Actor and MP Ravi Kishan will play Lord Ram at Ayodhya Ki Ramleela in New Delhi on October 19 and 20.

He says he feels nervous because he sees the role as a serious responsibility, given the reverence for Lord Ram.

Kishan has played other figures from Hindu mythology, but says this is his first time portraying Lord Ram on stage.

He says he must stick to the script and cannot improvise, because he wants to avoid mistakes in the live performance.

The event is expected to be watched worldwide, with Kishan saying it will be shown on Doordarshan, OTT platforms and YouTube.

He is fasting and following a special diet to prepare for the role, and says he will shave off his moustache before the performance.
