Ray Quinn says his son Rio was stillborn in August
Singer Ray Quinn has said that his son Rio was stillborn on 20 August 2026.
Quinn and his wife, Emily, shared a photograph taken with their son in hospital.
The couple married in 2023 and have a four-year-old daughter; Quinn also has a son from a previous marriage.
Quinn said the past few weeks had been difficult and that he and Emily had supported each other.
He thanked Liverpool Women’s NHS Foundation Trust and its Honeysuckle Bereavement Service for helping them through the loss.
Quinn said the couple shared their experience in a YouTube video in the hope it would help others in a similar situation.
The couple have not announced any further plans.
