Brazil expects diesel supply to exceed October demand by 6%
Brazil expects to have more diesel available in October than people and businesses will need.
The government says supply will be 6% higher than demand.
It is also paying importers an extra subsidy for 30 days to help bring diesel into the country.
This matters because higher global oil prices can make fuel more expensive and harder to secure.
