Court order puts streaming release of ‘Anali’ on hold

‘Anali’ is a fictional crime series inspired by the Koodathayi cyanide murder case.

Jolly Joseph, who is accused in that case, says portraying her as guilty before her trials end could affect her right to a fair trial and harm her reputation.

A court order has stopped the series from being released for now.

The Kerala High Court has asked the lower court to deal with the dispute quickly, but no release date has been confirmed.
