Turkey allows A, B or C nutrition scores on school food labels

Packaged foods sold in Turkish school canteens can use an A, B or C nutrition score instead of the school food logo if they meet the criteria.

A good score alone does not mean a product is approved for sale at school.

Some related deadlines have been extended to 13 September 2027.

The changes affect food suppliers and school food businesses, but do not delay all food safety rules.
