Few people with Lynch syndrome use aspirin to prevent colorectal cancer
Lynch syndrome is an inherited condition that raises the risk of colorectal cancer.
Studies suggest daily aspirin may lower that risk, though evidence on a lower dose needs cautious interpretation.
In a survey conducted before new lower-dose findings were published, only 10.4% of 539 people with Lynch syndrome said they currently took aspirin.
The researchers say clearer advice could help people weigh the possible benefits and risks with their doctors.
