Jeep plans to bring the Renegade back to Europe by 2030

Jeep plans to bring the Renegade back to its European lineup by 2030.

Xavier Peugeot, who leads Jeep in Europe, announced the plan at the Paris Motor Show.

The Renegade first went on sale in 2014, and more than 610,000 have been sold in Europe.

It is set to join a planned European range of six vehicles by 2030.

The new Renegade will probably use Stellantis’s STLA One platform, which can support different types of powertrain.

Jeep says all the models in its planned lineup will be compatible with four-wheel drive.

The company is also considering a new, even smaller model inspired by the historic Willys, but has not decided whether to build it; it could arrive after 2030.
