German priest dies after fall on hiking trail in South Tyrol

The priest was hiking alone on a trail near Ulten in South Tyrol.

He fell about five metres and died.

Rescuers say wet stones after rain or a sudden medical emergency may have caused the fall.

The exact cause is still being investigated.
