Plant-based restaurant brand launches five autumn dishes in South Korea

Plantude has launched five new plant-based dishes for autumn in South Korea.

The brand is run by Pulmuone Food & Culture and has three locations in Seoul.

The menu uses seasonal ingredients, including chestnuts, potatoes and wild greens, across meals, side dishes and dessert.

One pasta replaces cheese with fermented soybean paste to bring savory flavor to a dish inspired by cacio e pepe.

Another new dish combines buckwheat-and-soy-milk noodles with wild greens and was developed to be gluten-free.

The five dishes are made entirely from plant-based ingredients, including a chestnut brûlée dessert and a potato croquette.

Plantude had more than 610,000 visits and 820,000 menu sales by the end of September, and the company says it will continue offering seasonal menus.
